Fast tire plug repairs for tread-area punctures — back on the road in minutes.
A tire plug is a fast, effective external repair for small punctures (under 1/4") in the tread area caused by nails, screws, or roofing tacks — perfect when you need to get going right now and the puncture is in a safe-to-repair location. J&D Used Tire Shop LLC cleans and reams the puncture with a rasp tool, inserts a vulcanizing rubber plug coated in cement, trims it flush with the tread, and verifies the seal — all without removing the tire from the wheel. You drive away the same visit. For longer-term durability we also offer full plug-and-patch combination repairs and internal patches; we'll honestly recommend whichever option fits your situation, driving habits, and the tire's condition.
Under 15 minutes
External plug typically $15–$25; combo plug-patch $25–$35.
Quick fixes when you need to go now, small tread punctures
Often the life of the tire, but a combo plug-patch is the safer permanent repair we recommend for highway driving.
Only small (<1/4") tread-area punctures. Sidewall, large, or worn-tire punctures need replacement.
Usually under 15 minutes, with no dismount required.
